Curt Reynolds was raised on the sun-drenched beaches of San Diego and has been making an impact on the busy scene in LA over the last year. Presenting funky, deep, and disco vibes with a splash of pineapple juice and Vitamin D, you can find him smiling behind the decks and keeping people on their feet either poolside or late under the night shade. He adapts to his environment like a tequila-induced jungle chameleon but always keeps his sound organic and true to himself.

How would you describe your music style, in non-technical terms?

That feeling of pure euphoria when you're staring at the sun setting over the ocean, you have an ice cold beer in your hand, and you're surrounded by your best friends.

How and why did you decide to become a DJ?

I was a barback in a local watering hole and was tired of the music the resident DJs were playing (top40, EDM, hiphop)

Tell us a bit about your fans.

As loyal as they can get. They'll drive up and down the coast to catch a set and some even flew to Cabo San Lucas for my most recent poolside gig.

What are your top 3 influences? Doesn't have to musical.

My DJ companions in LA, California, all of Roche Musique

Any guilty pleasure(s)?

Dancing by myself to film score music.

All-time favorite track(s)?

Sprawl II - Arcade Fire, Inspector Norse - Todd Terje, Moonlight Sonata - Beethoven

What is your favorite festival, why?

CRSSD Fest. In my hometown in San Diego at the best location, with my best friends and family, with the best music.

Funniest/weirdest thing that ever happened during a gig?

My first gig ever a drink got spilled on the system and killed the noise, but everyone on the dance floor kept singing the lyrics to the song like some sort of team chant. I think it was Disclosure - White Noise...then 10 minutes later the music came back again

What advice do you have for someone looking to book a DJ? Other than "book me!" ;)

Book people who are persistent but humble and grateful.
